No scramble

If they have the bases covered ..then the Enav cargo would have been just in time then so probably some special mud to cover pressure build up..the bet is that HCs generated in vicinity of B58 are also migrating to the South West moving 10 km laterally along a gradient angle of 1000 meters depth to 370 meters depth(difference in water depth) ..meaning apart from being generated directly from below Kawa whatever is in Santonian in Maka Central would have to flow upwards westwards and southwards into the proximal reservoir of Kawa at the same angle as water depth change ..and remain trapped.. therefore the buoyancy of the HC and pressure from deeper would have to be sufficient to push the HCs towards Guyana shore upslope through and into a denser more sediment accumulation ..the migration aspect has been proven by the well at Drill Mahaicony East Coast Demerara which is at a 45 angle to Kawa so whether there is Commercial accumulation is being determined...

Yeah I've never fully understood the migration aspect of all of this. After 10s of millions of years I'd expect, neglecting hydrostatic effects, the reservoir to be at uniform pressure throughout. Or in other words, if there were even the slightest of paths for hydrocarbons to get to Kawa then it's there by now.Like it doesn't matter if a pressure vessel has a gaping hole or a pin ...more
