Results may be released this week, that was one of the longest wells in the basin, second only to tanager and still might turn out to be the longest. Now is the time to pocket money as omicron is spreading and markets are crashing.. S&p is trading like an exploding bubble falling 30% by now if you extract the 5 majors - apple, microsoft, google, facebook and amazon which represent more then 50% of the index.

I think you mean the RANGER man, and it is The closest to  VENEZUELA    boarder. IT is cosiderd the biggest of all the discoveries but it is in the FLAXS  zone of VENEZUELA.  SO they focust on the other side of LIZA.   A RANGER type discovery by  CGX well,  i like that.

Ranger was not the longest drill and not as deep as tanager, there is no dispute with venezuela in regard to ranger, it was a 350m boe discovery with potential to be the biggest discovery after an appraisal well which tested more intervals but looks like the appraisal didnt deliver the expected results.

sorry man ,i am not aware of a TANAGER well in the guyana suriname basin.  Harel1076 were is this well ,  you are right about this ranger it at the time was considerd to big hugh, i thought that it was because of this venezuela dispute is why exxon stoped out there, and the sismic crew that was taken to a venezuela prizon for a month or 2.  they did a surimame , but bigger for the

There was no appraisal well at ranger. Clouder is right Exxon have been more focus on eastern portion of the block. I read somewhere that next yr they will shift attention to western sections.

Goldrush 97: Yeah I read that Hess expects 10 rigs to be drilling next year. Hey do you know anything about a Guyana Basin ETF in the works? I guess that investors are wanting to get in somehow. Ok my bad. Seem to have miss that. Ranger is interesting going forward since it's the only carbonate play so far. We should learn more next yr when more areas around there should be drill. Glta.
