Devand1 is correct.  Still at Anchor and the same 3 ships as normal supplying.  Breaux, Enav and Polaris Must be getting close now! GLTA

I would say it's more than likely Kawa will be plugged and abandoned. It's the common thing to do for exploration wells and does not indicate a good or bad thing. This well will most likely not be used for development so by law in most countries the well needs to be plugged and abandoned to ensure it doesn't leak.

Shooter your terminology is very off.  You don't P & A a well and come back to it.  The letter "A" means abandoned.  If the well is successful they may chose to temporarily plug it and come back for further appraisals etc but they certainly don't abandone it. If you're going to make a statement like that although incredibly foolish when we don't have

Tiger, you might turn out to be right, but it's not common to go back to a wildcat deepwater exploration well to do futher analysis. So they are most often abandoned. I just want people to know that if the well has been abandoned it is not neccesarily a bad thing. The important piece from the NR will be from how much pay there is, not the final state of the well.

Tiger is correct P & A has very negative conotations. I have never heard of a successful well being Plugged and Abandoned???? I think this is a deliberate attempt by a few to distort what is really happening. They are still drilling as far as I know. Testing will be done after the drilling has been concluded. For those who are bored, please do not feel compelled to post. GLTA

Maybe that explanation pertains to 3 or 4  discoveries and 750 ft of pay.Now that would be some explaining.Now we are of to the races heading to $3 and above till news.Hopefully
