Hey Dfly

Ok Now they're getting into stuff that I know little about. The article says: "The net pay and fluid properties of the hydrocarbons across the shallow and deep reservoirs will now be confirmed with electric wireline logging and fluid sampling, with results to be disclosed as soon as practicable."

How do they get fluid samples from formations that are already behind casing using a wireline? I've been on plenty of wells where they perforate the casing and open it up using a test string. But first they displace the hole from mud to brine. Or do they have some new tools these days where you can perforate and DST? Anybody know?

If they're going to spend another $28 million for the rig plus many millions more to evaluate then they must feel that what they've found is worth the cost. In terms of cost per boe discovered it's just pennies per barrel though. Hope that you made a pile of money! The article talks about the lobe that you referred to on numerous occasions. They nailed the lobe. Also it confirms your anslysis on the analogs. They oughta hire you. Can't wait for 28 more days for results.

IMO the API will be comparable to Maka Central and Block 58. Coniacian is more or less the earlier Santonian ...just above Turonian.. The timing of next well points to Demerara Block ..
