Are you trying to say that the big boys would rather gamble thier exploration dollars on acreage miles and miles away from the Exxon s so called Golden Lane than pay for de risked Acreage...Demarara has value and Cgx...Fronterra will Not let it go...

Frontera is in the same position and CGX. Its fantastic there is a discovery. Both companies net valuations went up significantly. The question is how do there develope it. Thats big boy games.  To me they both have to fond a partner, leverage off of that partner for dev. Be it GOR/working interest and cash. Then take that money and drill again on another prospect. Well who are the big boys? Those who make the rules is what I have learned here in Venezuela. Those who make the rules can rig the rules for whatever advantage that they want. So this bet on Guyana, whether it be through XOM or OYL is dependant on what the rule makets, the government wants. That's what your bet comes down to. They want the foreign money flowing in. Well hopefully corruption doesnt take place meaning greedy dictators/politicians/government officials. The peopke should be the benefactors of national wealth.  Fair deals with companies developing for both sides would be the goal, i know that might be a pupedream but it has to be the goal IMO. What I mean by big boys is the multinationals of the world or the large companies that have the ...more
