If oil majors know CGX has no money why wouldn't they wait until they are bled dry and buy the scraps? 

the alternative is maybe get in first at a cheaper price?

Colorado, Because, from what I've read on this board, CGX has a strategic asset on the asset side of its balance sheet which is political capital which nobody knows how to quantify or value. But everybody knows that it's worth a lot.That political capital might simply evaporate if anybody took a hostile run at CGX. Yet I'm wondering if there are limits to the political capital that CGX ...more

Dirk explains this well...... Anyone who has followed CGX since the gun boat days (and i have, along with many) know that this company has survived countless hurdles that would have killed most all other junior exploration companies long ago.....and let me add, junior exploration company with ZERO revenue! U have to ask yourself....how is this even possible?  CGX does or did have strong ...more

I have been watching for 20 years as well my thoughts were based on since there is no deal maybe the partners are trying to negotiate knowing CGX has low liquidity. I am not trying to predict anything here as everything that has happened for 20+ years has not been the norm. Definitely no offence taken.
