I have received several communications over the weekend, that there will be negative news on Monday June 26, 2023!
How true is this?
Well, having read that broadcast from Devanand1 about prayers, I was wondering all day Sunday!

PS: The news bearers are tired of holding CGX for all these years and many are planning to sell if there is indeed negative news. Many also complained about our CEO of CGX!

Who gives away half of a company for one drill? Which kind of CEO makes this decision? Why does CGX pay more than 100 million dollars for a well while Exxon drills for cheaper? Who praises a drilling company for screwing up at KAWA-1, and then in Trinidad? Yet we hear that this drilling team is "the dream team"! What's wrong with this picture?

Phantom, How did the Discover screw up on Kawa and in Trinidad. They aren't responsible for stuck logging tools, sloughing shale, maybe high LGS (low gravity solids) in the mud helping to cause differential sticking. You sound like the people on this board who wanted to sue the Atwood Beacon because they ran out of trip margin on Jaguar1 and could have fractured the casing shoe above if

Folks, A little more patience is needed IMHO; if the news had been bad, they would by now already know it and made an NR + they wouldn't have taken the risk of stating Santonian aligned with pre-drill expectations. A little more patience...

Typically bad news comes out after the closing bell on a friday.  Good news comes out after the opening bell on a Monday, for obvious reasons.

Hmmm.  Seems a little suspicious. If I had someone credible is telling me that bad news is coming, I certainly wouldn't broadcast it and I would quietly sell my shares. If I had no shares then I wouldn't be on this board. What is your motivation Phantom?

Miftee9, He doesn't know. Otherwise he would have first collaborated the info with questions about loadouts to the rig and backloads from the rig using shipping manifests. Core/fluid samples require a strict chain of command protocol for legal reasons. Have samples even been shipped yet? Then they have to be analyzed in world class, lab facilties by highly skilled people.

Furthermore, any samples would be shipped by supply boats and not helicopters. They wouldn't even permit us to carry cigarette lighters, much less gallons of hydrocarbons, on the helicopters when I worked in that basin.
