Lab results

It does not take 2 months to do basic lab results on core samples or chip cuttings to determine fluid analysis. I can say this with confidence.... unless of course they sent the samples to some loser lab that Suresh got a hot tip on.

Management knows what they have in the Santonian. Why they haven't released this information is beyond me. Hopefully any of you attending the AGM this week can ask them, among so many other things.

On that note, I highly recommend someone ask if they have a confidential filing with the securities commission.  They are allowed to delay disclosing material info if the confidentiality can be justified (often this relates directly to info like a deal being negotiated and not necessarily results that themselves would not tip off any deal). Who knows... maybe they think it's still ...more

It is my understanding that it does take 2-3 months t get permeability data and i believe that is why they have not reported yet. Sure they may have fluid quality but what does that matter if perm is bad?! Releasing tiny bits of info every few weeks will just kill any future otential momo if the future data eliminates the benefit of the earlier data. So i say they should wait until perms are done.

I also think that all previous agm have not allowed questions but i do believe the company responds to mass email campaigns from disgruntled shareholders. If we want questions to be avail then we must email the company and demand that (if anyone is going to show up that is!). info@cgxenergy.com

Waitingstill on the issue of question and answer period you stand to be corrected.  Suresh always opens up for a Q&A before he closes the meeting.  The problem is there are only a few people which show up some times only two to four people including myself.  At last years meeting even Kevin Lacy was there and made himself available for discusson after the meeting.  He ...more

Thanks firo. My understanding that even if there were before tha is not the intention this year. Further, we need answers publicly stated and not after the meeting "behind closed doors". The company needs to be open and transparent with shareholders. If i think of questions i will send but i bet other posters have questions that need to be asked.

With due respect waitingstill, I think the overwhelming majority of investors want to know if the Santonian has oil or condensate or whatever the heck it is. The permeability will have very little impact on almost anything. Additionally, the permeability data (and porosity) derived from the lab will ultimately need to be tied back to the well-log data and that will take many additional months of ...more
