Agree, both stocks bleed while the train leaves the station for the rest of the sector.  Management needs to do something to help sentiment rather continuing to tell us how at some point in the future they will have something to discuss that we might like.

Could CGX and Frontera announce a buyout before they release the results of the appraisal? Are they allowed to share well info with a major before they share it with the shareholders?

A buyout could occur at anytime.  They had pre-drill expections for the prospect, those expectations will continue to be refined long after Wei-1 and any additional wells, including wells on production.  Defining reserves isn't an exact science, it's all about educated estimates based on available information & basin information.  What we need is for a buyer's

Good to know Christine. Maybe we are waiting not for well results but for a buyout to be finalized, I'm sure the majors interested have been given the well results. Thoughts?

My only thought is that if the core results aren't in the dataroom, unlikely to reach a deal while those results are pending. Everyone involved will want to see the core analysis...it's a key indicator of reservoir quality.
