How do we know this massive share wall is a short position? I thought most of the short positions have been closed recently...

I highly doubt that is a short position unless it is a naked short. No one is going to pay the premium (which at last look was quite high) just to block a SP that has few bids. And who would short a penny stock with pending news that could blow the doors open?! That would be pure madness. I guess they could know "bad" results but I doubt we would be at 99c with bad results.

Ok fair enough.  I'll ask out loud... it's clear someone on the inside knows something and thus is comfortable putting up a 600k share wall. Let's say good news is released... who is to say that this 600k wall will not stay up for a short while and thus allow all the short positions to cover?  only saving grace would be a trading halt, which would catch the shorts in a
