Audio

Regarding the audio, I was recording the online conference using my phone. They didn't know I recorded it.  I told them after I had uploaded it to YouTube because my questions were all the same questions I had prepared for the earnings call and I felt they should be public knowledge.  I'm sure I've made them uncomfortable now having done that but again, I thought it was important for any small investor who followed me into these companies to know I've not abandoned them and to make as many thoughts visible as I could.

Great effort and thanks for doing that Christine. It is incredible to think these guys put that much time into the NR and actually thought it was good when it tanked their SP 20% and CGXs more than 60%. Words can not express my contempt for their incompetence! To think that they can sit there and say with straight faces "we MIGHT have a potential stand alone project" without providing ...more

I personally doubt that Suresh has much weight to through around to make any difference. Frontera team is making all the calls and shots! They are the major shareholder and in addition all people that are on CGXs board are the ones that  spoke at Frontera. Frontera is like horse's mouth. Suresh is just a messenger in my opinion.

I've tried to contact Todd Durkee at CGX mltiple times. He won't return my call and I can't didn't get him to respond to me on LinkedIn....Suresh also has never returned an email.  I'm not holding my breath they ever will. The only reason Frontera bothers w/ me is that I got on a plane to turn up at the investor day last year...so they know that in addition to having a ...more

I am sure you burned your dridge of trust they wouldn't be willing to talk to you that openly anymore. But at the same time you helped to stop the bleeding on the Market. it is sad that they are not as concerned about ordinary investors. Daily flow of shares of Fromtera is usually very small and easily manipulated. If you noticed about a month ago was a significant drop in the share price ...more

Dell1, No they are not dusters according to some knowledgesble people who I talked to who reviewed the Hannam & Partners report. The fact that they said that the top Maas target was "water wet" got their attention. Water wet has a precise meaning in petrophysics and refers to whether a rock type is preferentially water wet or oil wet. It's got something to do with ionic bonds ...more

Thanks Kelvin! I never said it is a duster. I just said that other companies when they drill and represent their results might say that. We definitely have good results! Just how good we will know once updated Investors Presentation will be published. I am glad that there are people here share their knowledge and doing what they can to clean the mess that was done on Nov 9, 2023.

Yeah Dell, we're now in the realm of highly technical stuff beyond my knowledge for sure. Be good to have petrophysicist, geochemists, petroleum geologists etc comment in order to better understand the information as it is made available.
Comment by Mat1791 on Nov 15, 2023 6:03am
Yeah Kelvin, it would also be of tremendous value if CGX/FEC also had those specialists!   No one has the confidence to invest when stock boards have better experience and understanding then the exploring companies. Am I being sarcastic?  One may hope not.   I'll take a circus of blundering idiots at the moment over intentional manipulation or deception.   At ...more

Well Mat1791, the approach that I take after being burned bad by Nortel over two decades ago is to learn as much as my feeble mind can learn about what I am investing in. Back then, all of the warning signs were flashing red - "irrational excuberance" comment by Alan Greenspan about the entire dotcom thing, Warren Buffet's comments about market caps through the roof for companies ...more
Comment by westcanpride on Nov 15, 2023 8:47am
You summed it up Mat1791.  when you listen to folks on message boards talk more common sense/technical issue jargon than the companies themselves, something is incredibly wrong.  yesterday is a perfect example. In what was perceived as a private call, Victor Vega (Frontera lead technical) made an absolute fool of himself. Notwithstanding CGX/Frontera hate at the moment, his responses ...more

I completely agree. Christine, I was very very impressed at your questioning of these idiots and was shocked at Vega's aattempt at an answer. WCP, to comment on what you said, I think its not for his lack of knowledge, but its a deliberate attempt to fool and mislead investors. These guys should eventually be made to be held accountable. Everyone is finding hundreds of feet of play around us ...more

Who was the Guyanese guy speaking?
Comment by ohcanada17 on Nov 15, 2023 11:11am
After yesterdays call they should be seriously considering hiring Christine Guerrero lol...half joking half serious
Comment by BigBadB on Nov 14, 2023 7:52pm
I respectfully disagree. It is a current crooked management of CGX that burned the bridges a long time ago through their sheer incompetence, mistakes and not being honest with their shareholders. I had a few conversations with Waren Wokman and Kerry Sully more than 20 years ago and they were a lot more open and honest. Well, water under the bridge. I undestand that there has been a lot of hope ...more

BigBadB, unfortunately the nature of the public companies usually is to faivour segnificant shareholders ONLY that can make a dent in their stock value. They are more transparent with institutions and who has a big position. The first time I have heard about the CGX when they drilled Eagle-1 on April 25, 2012. At that time Pacific Rubiales was arround. Who followed the history of Frontera know ...more
