If I can offer a little hope to the situation. I believe that the venezuelan referendum will be voted down. This will give Maduro a way out. Prove that free and fair elections are possible. Then a deal will be made. Pure speculation on my part but that is how I see it playing out. We will know by this time next week.

Yes LCSulla, There's plenty of videos floating around in Venezuela of Venezuelan military practising crossing jungle rivers using huge barges carrying armoured personnel carriers and clearing jungle to make roads and military bases. Note that Venezuela's biggest allies are Russia and Iran. Simply google "Venezuela Hezbollah" to get an idea of the extent to which proxies of Iran ...more
