Contracts

Most Contracts are Assignable so I'm sure that the contract signed with the gov. would have had an Assignment clause...Since the Contract  was signed long before Exxons first discovery ..there would have been No need for the Guyana gov.to insert a non-assignment clause...So I'm pretty sure those tax credits would transfer to a new owner if in fact Cgx was Sold outright...I do believe that would be the preferred  outcome..As WCPmention why would any major want Cgx as a partner let alone Fronterra...

More than a year ago, going into the Wei1 drill, I think CGX had warned about the possibility of ceasing to be an ongoing entity. I've tried to look for that article several times without success. Which is the reason I asked Rapsani to explain his train of thoughts. Taal or Waitingstill, can you ever recall reading such a thing? Ok time to lay out things in plain, undetstandable english. The JV for Corentyne is not between oyl and fec. It is between CGX Resources Inc (cgi) a wholly owned subsudiary of CGX Enengy (oyl) registered in the Bahamas with their own BOD, a private legal entity which legally does not have to report anything to the public because no public shares have been issued and a subsidiary of Frontera called ...more

I believe it's clear this agreement cannot be transferred unless the minister approves. Even then, there are conditions and my favorite being if the conditions are not favorable to Guyana.   This deal is much better then their new ones so I couldn't see Guyana saying yes when they know it's worth much more. My only fear is 25.2 c. where FEC, as an affiliate company, could be ...more

That's right..  every other one has been end of June and I cannot make it because it's my end of half year, and last year I was on vacation.   Perhaps this year I'll make it down and join you..  I think there's ample room for us at the table !

It would be my pleasure to sit at the table with you.  The only greater pleasure for me would be if a deal was made and I was able to sell all my shares.  Then there would be no more meetings to attend after 24 years.  GLTA   FIERO
