Can't bite the hand that feeds them (ExxonMobil JV)... but for CGX and FEC, its hardline stances. Bunch of banana republic hypocrites Guyana government officials. Sadly, we sit in this crossfire while these losers have a pis*sing match with CGX and FEC management.

Yeah ffs. Everybody and their dog knows that the Guyanese gov has possession of all material info plus the brains and/or capability to hire the brains in order to access the commercial potential of Corentyne from the data set of Kawa and Wei which they have complete access to. So let's start there. Is their current stance saying that, in their judgement, the current JV doesn't have the ...more

Hahahah you guys are forgetting a main feature of the guyenese government.  The train wont move unless you grease the wheels.

Well they'd better get their grease guns out! Guyana has maybe one decade to monetize their oil. The following is a real game changer if true. Superconductivity, almost 100% conversion of protons from the sun into free electrons (electricity) and batteries with energy densities dwarfing the energy density of hydrocarbons. Where Planck meets Einstein. Hey Dfly! Nvdia is working closely with ...more

Let's not get ahead of ourselves. The world still uses roughly 400 million barrels of oil equivalent every day and the total keeps rising every year.   oil at 100 million barrels/day  gas at 400 BCF/day  coal at 23 million short tons/day  Guyana will be selling their natural resources to global consumers for decades to come. Let's not kid ourselves about that ...more

So much money is being made in the semiconductor AI space, PLTR 378% NVDA 184% SOUN 900% TSM 100% so many more year on year.  The transition from oil as an energy source is in full swing. The market knows it. Oil names flat. XOM rushing to monetize what they can in the constrained window of opportunity. Smart. Use the cash to make solar panels and batteries. Lol. After all they are an energy ...more

Too bad were not shareholders of Guyana.
Comment by Kelvin on Jan 08, 2025 11:35am
Well Guyana does have an abundance of prime semiconductor material as well. But get the friggin oil out of the ground first and turn it into money! Don't care how they divvy it up. Just don't screw private retail investors in the process.
