Ya sorry it was a rhetorical question.  Also not sure if a $50 hand held temeprature device is meant for multiple readings, one after the other for multiple hours.  Also I think you have to point the device within a distance of 1-2 cm for an accurate reading.  If you want an industrial type device then you will have to pay a lot more than $50.  I would rather walk through a ...more

You're missing one point - does the organization taking the temperature actually care if it's accurate?  I would argue they do not.  It's about showing that they are doing "something",  about convincing the people that it's safe, about convincing the government that they should be allowed to be open and about liability. I appreciate your thoughts and I believe you're being honest.  Not sure if other companies have had success selling a similar product.  PMED was mentioned on this board as a competator and I think they earned a contract.  Anyway good to know what people are thinking.
