In one of two lawsuits filed this week in Quebec Superior Court, St. Catharines, Ontario-based companies Mundiregina Resources Canada and Abba Quebec Resources are jointly seeking $50 million in "compensatory damages" for the "illegal and disguised expropriation" of their dozen oil and gas exploration permits on land in the Gasp and Bas-Saint-Laurent.
