Search for Porphyry
My take on where things stand. They are drilling to search for a copper porphyry magma chamber from which the breccia pipes were fed from below. If found, the share price will explode. If not, there is enough metal in the breccia pipes to be economically viable on those alone. I watched a presentation by Doug Kirwin describing the nature of tourmaline breccia pipes on YT that included a description of Chakana's Soledad pipes. The gist of his expertise, breccia pipes are cone shaped. If the cones point down, you have a voluminous magma porphyry chamber below. If they point up, either there is no porphyry below or it's too deep to exploit. I can't tell which direction Soledad cones point. The grades in Soledad's breccia pipes are astonishingly high, making them worth developing on those alone. If they find a porphyry chamber beneath, we should be worthy of a substantial buyout.
