Is this thing for real?

They spent $millions drilling one of the richest veins ever discovered *at surface* and the stock is 1 cent. Why did they spend so much unless they were continually coming up with even more rich cores? Will any of the gold belong to the shareholders of this company a year from now or will we be in receivership and transferring the assets to some Australian shell?
