Interesting response to earnings

can't say I was expecting SP to be down after those earnings....wonder what it's going to take to get this stock moving?

You and me both. I am interested. There are those who may have been quite overweight on the name who were perhaps expecting a bit more and are now dumping some of their shares after buying in in the low 40s, taking a quick 15% and then moving on to another name that has yet to report, hoping for a quick jump there. Not sure. Obviously someone thinks the exact opposite a there've been 170K ...more

They say the market is always forward looking, so I feel like there are some investors who read about the upcoming quarter as being soft (due to the summer and post-covid recovery) or the shortage of nurses and healthcare staff for recruitment at the moment and push the sell button. Otherwise, as we know, this is a company that is free cashflow positive to the tune of just under $1 million this ...more

Company seems cheap no matter how you slice it, earnings were decent and on relatively on plan. It's being priced like it is going out of business with all small caps and health tech. I think the price action was just an absence of buyers with sellers using the earnings release as a liquidity event for a thinly traded stock. insiders seem to do a good job of buying up units, here's ...more

I also agree that sellers used the earnings release as a liquidity event to dump their shares.  Nobody likes to own micro caps when they've seen their position literally drop by 50% or more. Also, the forward guidance that nurses are taking a step back from a difficult working environment that could impact forward revenues. Covid was certainly a tailwind for the business but demand for ...more

Agree, these short term headwinds on abseentism and struggles sourcing nurses will turn into tailwinds. There is so much political pressure to resolve the nursing/healthcare crisis. Government will throw money to hire more nurses, but will look to technology solutions to improve staffing. I also think this is a great time to be an acquirer in this space, probably lot of burnt out small operations ...more

Personally I don't think a dividend is on the table anytime soon, I'd rather see them be a consolidator and expand into new geographic regions.  Spot on about the necessity of our services in an evolving healthcare industry in Canada. Temporary workforce is not going away

I totally agree that it's being priced like it's going out of business - this makes no sense to me even with the upcoming quarter temporarily soft. Eventually, the company will get an appropriate valuation, though I guess we will have to wait until sentiment shifts in the small cap space before we move higher.

Would like to see continued insider buying at these levels. If they were willing to step up at these prices before the ER, than I assume they'd be willing coming out of the blackout. Continuing to add to my position at these bargain prices!
