From a nurse’s perspective

This is a quote I thought I'd share.

" I work as a nurse, and healthcare is in CRITICAL needs of workers ( and the job needs will linger for years) I have 2 jobs right now and I can easily work for a 3rd or 4th job if I wanted to. Nurses are being offered bonuses per shift ( ranging from $500-$1000), just to work for an extra shift. New grad nurses are being given, up to $20,000 sign on bonuses by hospitals. Experienced nurses ( OR, ICU, ER, L/D,PACU nurses) have sign on bonuses (ranging from $5,000 up to 30,000)upon signing up to a hospital. It is not too late to change careers, some universities have programs for individuals with Bachelors degrees interested to go back to school to be a nurse to have their BSN within18 months."
