volume of the stockpile

just baseing my predictions off of the stockpile picture and shooting short on everything, i think we could be looking at 56000cubic meters of stockpile. in theory this stockpile said to be located in a revine so this is my formula (Volume triangular prisum=.5BHL)(V=.5 x 50m x 15m x 150m) gives you 56250m3. i undershot the weight of a cubic meter of gravel (1.68tonnes/cubic meter)
(56250 x 1.68=94500tonnes) now i think we average at least 1g per tonne giving you 94500g of gold. that gives you 3048ounces(94500/31=3048). this is just my predictions, and know i shot short on all my numbers. i believe there is more than what my numbers come out to, im just trying to give a reasonable answer.

Estimate 3000ozs at $2000/oz = US$6M minus cost of production. Lets hope it is close to 30g/ton and phd makes 30 times which is viable. What is level 11/12 holding, not in laser 3D yet??

Remember this is all lowball numbers as well. I based the depth at 15m when it was said it could be 20. Length could be 200 instead of 150, width 100 than 50.... also the stockpile already had upwards of 10g/tonne samples. Of course there were samples with no gold but that's to be expected. I'm also completely comfortable leaving my investment in the company in the long run even if this ...more

Actually - I think I had higher grade - thinking lower tonnage - meet in the middle - $$ 1.25 M tailings ?? However as I noted in an earlier post - I'm agreeing with Ron -at the 600, - I think they lost the seam - 1/4 mile of high pay there - and if they are right - paydirt goes down at at 30 easterly - big numbers - even starting at the 600 !

Twigler12 I think we are in the same low-ball ballpark - the surface dimensions vs a narrowing ravine - tough to figure tonnage - however I'm thinking richer than you - lowballimg at 1 OZ / ton = 33 g/ton! Hard turning cubes into tons - so - just guessing - 1200 to 1500 tons - still a million !

Yeah I just went the average weight of a cubic meter of gravel.  Usually weight would go by yards on a dump truck  but meters was easier to stick with. I like to think rich too but in this case if I'm accurate then I'm credible, plus if it exceeds my expectations then it's just that much more of a surprise..... And I like surprises $$$

You're thinking metres now - Canuk ??

Yeah.  I usually deal with imperial system but gotta know the metric system too. In this case whatever their terms are is what I go with.
