Is Providence just another Lifestyle Company?

I'm beginning to come to the sad conclusion that Providence is just another "lifestyle company". Ron gets a nice $144K salary out of it, shareholders get nothing but falling prices. For over two years we were told Ron was going to process the stockpile, when push came to shove he changed direction, now he wants to drill. Meanwhile, he continues to get that nice salary.

Keep calm ;-) wait few weeks.

What possible good news can come out in a few weeks? Maybe if they were processing the stockpile, and they could report production results, or maybe they have already started drilling, and discovered visible gold in the drill cores. Failing that, what news can come out in a few weeks that would change anything?

Hate to burst your buuble of hope but they are broke and in order for them to do anything at all (other than draw "management fees") they need the financing and that looks like it ain't gonna happen - the PP was at 7 cents and this dead as a doornail ... at 6 cents.  And processing the waste pile seems highly unlikey considering the dismal grades they got. Good luck on the book ...more

Pandemic was the best thing that could have happened to boost online sales of books. Completely changed how consumers shop for non-grocery items. Online is where it's at. I don't ever expect it to go back to what it was before.

Pit Dude What does that have to do with the POG and this stock?  Are they shopping for a portable mill and equipment on Amazon?

I was responding to KozmoT: "Good luck on the book sales though - hopefully all this pandemic schitt got more people into reading."

It was a bit late for that. Started buying PHD in October, 2019.

I'm wondering that the real reason that Ron decided not to process the stockpile is because it would involve hiring employees and managing same. I'm pretty certain Ron does not have that capability. I do not think he is a manager of people. When he did the Zoom call last year he mentioned the possibility of contracting out the stockpile processing to a third party, splitting the profits. You ignore the 600 lb gorilla in the room - the waste pile had no economic concentrations of Au from which to amke a profit, never mind splitting it w a 3rd party. And if what you suggested about the CEO was true then he has no business whatsoever being the CEO of a public company, taking investor monies but literally unable to manage what needs to be done.  They hyped the waste pile for 2 ...more

Daily defaction from a large silverback is 3609 grams!  If they could get that much out of the stockpile on a daily basis it might be economic!
