You got it backwards, wouldn't it be the worst time for a company in gold exploration to run out of $$ and go basically inactive? Also, wouldn't they need to have actually found some gold in any economical tonnage for this to be a good time for them? No gold, no exploration and no money ... while the gold price is soaring. That's just serious bad luck.
