Carbon Upcycling
These guys are testing their version of Green concrete in my company yard. They use "enhanced" fly ash with possolans and glass

Hello NoRetire, Are you able to share a few more details about the test you mentioned in your post? Where is this taking place, how large is the test area, what is the name of the ready-mix company that delivered the concrete, what is being poured (slab, footings, retaining wall, etc.). Many thanks, S.

Well NoRetire, with those specs, concrete highways come to mind.

My guess NoRetire is a division of CRH, formally Holcim, with a global network. I’m just wondering if this testing is also to be highlighted at the Concrete Expo in Toronto on May 18th & 19th. Seeing that the 28 day compression strength test of 32mpa should pass with flying colours.

"In an effort to lower our GHG emissions – specifically those emitted from concrete and other construction materials - and reach net zero by 2050, Aecon recently partnered with Carbon Upcycling, a manufacturer of carbon-derived additives that can help lower concrete's carbon footprint, and Dufferin Concrete to trial a low carbon concrete."
