I'm sticking to my guns and think that if the upcoming results from the 150 meter stepout drilling are good, or really good, we'll see a decent move. HOWEVER, if they stepout again after that and hit, then lookout. That's when Norilsk comparisons will get louder and louder. Terry talks about a move to 2-3 very quickly. I would say that would be the day after an extended halt. And at that point in time, yes the big boys would start to knock. But one step at a time. Let's not get ahead of ourselves. GLTA

Oh, I'd say "they've finished 15 km of drilling and have only released a couple assays" would be getting way,way, ahead if ourselves. Us old guys remember the lessons from bre-x and diamond fields. Robert surely remembers the way to extract maximum value from the majors is to tease and torment them into a bidding war. And the big guys learned, no matter what, they need to do

Thanks for posting blue0987. I've read about the Voisyes Bay story in the past and it's definitely an eye opener. It's quite the story. Keep in mind for diamond fields to be purchased for over 40 at a 4 billion valuation, they must have had an extremely low share count. In comparison with pnpn, we have about 250 million shares outstanding(still very acceptable ) including options

apapas1973 Right, although Cu & Ni prices were a bit lower back in 1996.I believe by this time next year we will have a much clearer picture of what we have in grade, and tonnage in this highly enriched polymetallic zone, where if we continue to hit anything close to the high grades we have been hitting, and expand the tonnage to around 20M/T - 25M/T then we'll be closing in on a world

I believe 1 of the rigs in this campaign will be stepping out from the Lion Zone all the way down to Nisk Main, drilling shallow holes looking for continued mineralization/continuity or hitting other high-grade shoots that are widespread in this kind of system, then doubling back extending the depth of those holes that look the most promising.
