Do we know if people are using slyce?
We haven't heard much regarding how much people are unlocking their phone, opening the neiman marcus app, navigating to the photo function within the app, then using slyce.
It just seems like so much customer friction. If this company is going to survive we need to know how many purchases have actually taken place using the feature.
It doesn't help that basically nobody downloads and uses a retailer app. Neiman Marcus has 80 reviews. If we are generous we could say that one review = 100 people, which means there are 8,000 people have the neiman marcus app. How many of those people are going through the process I have described above?
We need the management to tell us how many people are using slyce to buy goods. It's the only number that really matters and I can't find it in the financials.

you dd sucks. The Neiman Marcus app had 12,000 downloads in the month of October alone. And that is only on iphones. They have yet to make an app for android phones. https://sensortower.com/ios/us/neiman-marcus-group/app/nm/785548638

Mark Elfenbein said in September that they receive around 3000 search requests per day. That are around 100k per month... With the 4 new clients it should be some more. Slyce get paid not only for search requests. They also get money for licensing, analytics, coupons etc..

Neiman Marcus: 127 reviews in the lifetime of the app... even though you think there were 12k downloads this month. Keep dreaming pal. By the way, you should probably consider reading them. Most of those people seem to think the technology doesn't work. The positive ones seem paid for. You can tell by checking the user. Best Buy app: 65,576 reviews
