Gonna keep on accumulating

I believe this company is too beat up. I'll keep adding until SLC either gets bought out or hits .20-.30 cents. Slyce keeps adding clients and growing. Mostly upside with limited downside here. IMHO GLTA

It doesn't worry you that they are on the brink of running out of money?  As of april 30, they had 1.5 million in cash (2.4 if you include all assets). Their net loss for the quarter was 2.79 million. They resorted to a million dollar debenture financing this quarter... because they are running out of cash and their business loses a lot of money each quarter.    Their revenue ...more

I guess you missed the investor call when they talked about government funding, it's posted on the slyce website if you didn'nt know that already.

Leafs4Life has always been a downer when it comes to this stock. The fact is tha Slyce is executing on their current plan and signing new companies at a fast pace which will bring them to cash flow positive in the near future.  The last conference call stated that their current cash burn rate is in the area of 500k per month and it is being lowered all the time. Which, with the current ...more

Does anyone know why my last couple of SLC purchases don't register in the daily volume? Seems odd. Broker says it's just the way TSXV works.

Ted mentioned the company was seeking government funding but nothing has come through yet and the company has got to be down to their last few pennies - if there is an announcement about any sort of financing that will prolong the life of this company then the SP should pop a little bit, but until then, expect volume to remaI started buying in when it was in the low .20s and averaged down a bit ...more

If Slyce was getting government wellfare it would be material information. There is nothing about such funding on SEDAR so it has not arrived.  Not to mention, who in their right mind would want taxpayer dollars funneled into this company? They've already burned through about 50 million bucks of private money without turning a profit.  Debenture, giving away shares for services ...more

Any government funding is inconsequential. Half the venture companies get it. Probably under 100k anyway. I'm putting faith in the cost cutting measures and the high rate of new clients. Yes, very risky, but trading at the appropriate level for the risk. Bigger the risk, bigger the reward. Selling the entire company may be something considered as well. When clients sign up for the service they ...more

Several CC's ago they mentioned customer based financing....I took it to mean that a large client like Best Buy who may pay $50,000 per month with all the SLC add-ons would instead pay a lump sum upfront to get a discount. e.g. $500,000 instead of 50,000 x 12 months.....

Let me say this, inititially  investing heavily and thinking I had hitched to a winner, I've finally come to realize  .....SLYCE IS LOSING VENTURE. All the chatter about acquiring new clients is  just that CHATTER.  What really matters is the continuous drop in sp, and it's value reduced to mere pennies on the dollar. This company has 'burned" money in salaries ...more

That's the risk one takes with pennies, ain't it? I'm not saying I'm long term here... I'm saying with a market cap of below 20 million, there may be some upside with a pop in SP due to a good NR or selling off part/all of the company. I genuinely feel bad for those who have taken a substantial hit in the last year. Heck, I'm already down 18%. Someone has to take a chance ...more

Yugge volume today. Massive sells. This is looking really, really bad.  2 cents by next week looks very real.

Are you still long SLC? Just wondering if you have more insight than just the obvious. Are you aware of any other retailers waiting to be signed this quarter? Nike was the only one I saw mentioned.

Cannot sell without a buyer
Comment by MuadDib on Jul 28, 2016 6:04pm
Yeah. I guess I was the buyer of your shares today. Added another 110k. If we do get Reebok and Nike. Things will be ok. IMHO GLTA
