Ive heard

They have found a buyer, but no one is gonna like the sale price. they are in a very desperate situation and someone is getting a steal of a deal. take it with a grain of salt. i cant confirm but i believe it to be true.

I guess we'll know when we know. I'd love to get 50-75 million, but would be ok with 30. Anything less than that is lame. If it's Pinterest... I'll take stock swap please, before the IPO! IMHO GLTA

Can you elborate, re: buyer, sale price. If I would hazard to guess, I'd say the buyer is someone with previous ties and the price, fractions of a penny. Like .0001 per share. If that's the case it'd be like "deja vue, all over again".
Comment by MuadDib on Nov 03, 2016 9:15pm
Excellent!! If it's only .0001 per share...I can buy the whole company. Lmao!

2 cents is what i heard, but like i said its just hear say. going private, BIG is out new owners want nothing to do with anyone associated to them. so when debt gets repaid, shareholders get a penny. we all have been burned. like i said before i will never again invest in what might be, only what can be confirmed to be. this was a great idea but unfortantly thats all it was. if visual search ever ...more

So, what you're saying is the deal is for approximately 4 million dollars?! That's quite the complete, utter and epic fail, if true. You've heard of the saying, "too good to be true", May I suggest a new saying, "too bad to be true". IMHO GLTA

Well the stock price says it all, lol. and absolutly no one is going to lend them any money or buy stock. its over and if they did get 4-5 million then they are very lucky, bankruptcy is right around the corner. im betting the sale news comes out in the next 2 weeks.let this be a lesson to us all. dont invest in hope.

where did you hear that? would be disgusting...after debt almost no money left...

Good post, you missed mentioning the not so real "offer" from Mr Beals and "Quest Ventures" which allowed someone to get out of a lot of stock at a profit.  Unfortunately the path these guys should have take was to grow the coupon app which was marginally profitable not count on people taking pictures of others wearing clothes to see where they can find them in stores ...more

The takeaway is to be very suspicious of Cameron Chell. I don't know if his reputation will recover from the Slyce and Vogogo debacles. He will be back with some other scam before too long. Anyone who gets suckered a second time has nobody to blame.  If you check the BIG website none of his portfolio companies seem to even exist other than Urthecast. His drone company doesn't even ...more

I emphasize with your bitterness of losing $$. Can you please explain how a "scam" company can receive revenue for their services from the likes of Best Buy, Toys R Us, Home Depot etc., if the services aren't legitimate? Why would these large companies do business with Slyce, if the services rendered don't function appropriately? I prefer to trust these large company contracts ...more

Firstly, I lost hardly any money on this trade. I was in at 16 and out at 12. I bought at 16 because they had priced their private placement at 20 cents and I thought I could get 25% if they closed the placement. Of course they didn't close it, so I sold.  With respect to Cameron Chell being a scam artist. You need to look at the body of work, not just slyce. This is from an article in ...more

thanks for that well thought out response Leafs. You may be right about the Chell guy. SLC was on my watch list for the last year. When I saw this spring that they had Home Depot and Best Buy, I was sold. The main reason I put a boatload of cash into Slyce is because of Ted Mann. I truly believe(d) HE can get something out of this company. BTW, Slyce has begun the deep learning aspect to Visual ...more

If what has been stated is true, and it sre seems to be, then Cam Chell should be charged with fraud. He should also be fined, incarcerated and barred for life from participating in any stock exchanges.
Comment by NotFreddie on Nov 22, 2016 6:43pm
It seems that there might be some truth to what you say. However I heard that a company is interested in purchasing Slyce lock stock and barrel for 7 cents a share. After which they will privatize it . The caveat is that the onus is on Slyce to windup the company and pay-off all debts and recall all shares as a condition of sale. Something is fishy about this and doesn't make sense. What does ...more

Mmmm at 7 cents thats 5 times what its trading at now, thats a big premium givin their situation, plus the caveats you mention do seem crazy, but this is slyce so anything is possable. i cant see anyone paying up such a premium, everyone knows they are almost if not broke already.
Comment by NotFreddie on Nov 23, 2016 12:25pm
I agree it doesn't make sense. I wonder if it's the technology they are after, because I think that Slyce will go the way of the DODO. Regardless if it comes to fruition, the remaining shareholders will get more than expected. Makes one think if one could profit from acquiring a few shares @ 1.5 cents. I see that the volume for today is presently at 50K.....mmmm interesting ????

Where did you hear the 7c figure from? it must not be reliable enough for you not to buy more stock at this price. It would be a nice bonus at this price.
