I have been investing in Merger and Acquisition Arbitrage for 30 plus years.    NEVER seen a deal quite like this.    The "Loan Documentation" provided by the Offeror in their SEC filings looked Suspect to me.     Very little background info available on Roch and Viston,  and the bank   UniExpress. The company PQE was a broken cease

Doug Worndl used to work for Siskinds.   They did the Sino Forest Shareholder Class Action.   The company went BNKrupt.    The Shareholder's collected from the Auditors.   The settlements overall where over $100M for the stockholders.      Here the loss is about $160M,  so the settlements could easily be in the $10's of millions.&

Totally not true.   They make recoveries.   Take usually 30% on contingency.   Only IF they win. You could also google  Morgan and Moran in the U.S.      On their webiste under Business Practices Group.    Then Shareholders/Minority Shareholders/LP's.       I don't know IF they do Securities specifically but

It was only natural for Viston to withdrawal the bid after CFIUS rejected the takeover. There will be others and closer to home.
