It took 6 years for SV to get Poet to this "inflection point". The OFC was a success as a demo for 35 companies. Accroding to Poet management, customers are want demo from Poet this week. That means that Poet is being taken seriously. It should be. SV probably laid the foundations for his research at Global Foundaries. When SV was brought in by Ajit to Poet, it brought the mind of SV into Poet to take this company into uncharted waters to change the paradigm for phontonics. I believe SV has done that and the rest of the world is about to find out in greater detail in terms of how effective Poet's OI will be in their solutions. The years prior to SV are part of another era and SV cannot be taken to account on that ever as falsely promoted by the naysayers here. Such conflation is unacceptable! Fair points Gilver however Poet is a victim of their own words when they announce things like cash flow positive in 2018 (Toronto meeting 2016 ) or when they announce the flood gates are open or say blue ocean of opportunity. Poet, as the inventor, knows how impactful they could be over several years selling into the markets they plan to enter and/or license.
