... in my opinion mean much more than insider buying. Insider buying is simply the source endorsing itself. Therefore, self-promotion. Is that why share price don't always take off into the stratsophere and hold when their is insider buying? It might happen during the first wave, like back in Poet's GaAS era under former management. Once that happens, it takes much more effort and proof to bring back that enthusiasm. Does Poet have the current management to do that? Yes, in my opinion.

Third party validation, in my opinion, is what really can drive the share price way up north, even before any meaningful revenue numbers go on the treadmill in an incline position. So a large name like, Apple, Cisco, Google, Warren Buffet, and well known fund managers can do this. However, is this a guarantee of keeping the share price way up north?

Rockley - Apple, but where is Rockley going? 
Poet - [Customer engagements, ...... , ......., ........ (lots of evidence in presentations and podcasts). .....] and where are they going? They are "ready" according to Vivek for production.  What will that do for Poet's share price? All the above in my opinion.

Why should anyone believe someone who is name-calling and promoting negative conspiratorial thinking about others as in your post below. Could any of the Morgan Stanley buying be a combinaton of both themselves, or their clients? Either way to me, it doesn't really matter for this little top-up financing that Poet has done.
