I thought you bashers would jump on the comments about 18 months away from product launch and 2nd generation product. This may be why Poet reduced their forecast for sales from Celestial in the next 3 years from $100 million to $40 million.

Yeah, the name of POET is somehow absent, eventhough they will be the engine of a faster internet. Anything 18 months out is for sure not a slam dunk... They said there are a lot of companies in the space. But not POET. So, the only positive and negative is, non of it applies to POET. Only negatives and no mention of POET. Celestial would not have received such great investments if what they do would not show a great return for shareholders in the future. It is nice to know that Poet is part of their photonic fabric which offers huge revenue rewards.  gilver

There is no guarantee POET will get orders from the photonic fabric project. Yeah, it appears Poet gets a chance to contribute like no doubt others. In case POET cannot make it work or if others do better. It will be too bad. Just like the Tier1 experience.
