Revenue

I read a report and 500 dollars per engine is the current going rate . 1 m plus a year just from this one operator. 500 m revenue per annum. It's all there a market crying out for low energy fast data transfer. A market expected to 5x in the next few years to in access of 80b . You can bet once this first facility is in full production we will see rapid scaling of business to meet demand . So what we putting this on valued at 1 years revenue? Answers on a post card , however we have to wait to see the figures once revenue starts to accumulate. I think POET it's uniquely positioned to capitalize on the AI revolution. A potential unicorn, A potential success story. So a Happy and Prosperous New Year to you all , which ever way you currently swing . SW

If Poet could only come up with ONE ORDER for a change.
Comment by Stockwizard10 on Jan 01, 2025 7:26am
Well I think you might be very surprised shortly. Happy new year SW
Comment by wintersun10 on Jan 01, 2025 7:32am
Well, I guess shear holders were surprised not a get a sales number for current sales. Leading to a sell off. Shear holders do not need more surprises, usually it is not a good surprise. How about just the facts: so many orders, so much in sales. But, as usual silence on that front. Not even sales for Legacy products of 100G, what kind of Legacy is that?
Comment by Stockwizard10 on Jan 01, 2025 7:55am
Well I guess investors are falling over themselves to throw 25m in at premium for a company that has no interest or intentions of the taking product to market. They must simply have money to burn no due diligence no inside information.  Poet have had an amazing product but have never had the production capacity to meet orders . Why do you think they have just bought a facility to meet ...more

I'll take a stab at it : Once they achieve 1,000,000 units/year I did a rough calculation : 1,000 000 units x $500 = $500,000,000 sales 40% profit margin = $200,000,000  Assuming Poet has 100 million shares then this represents $2 US/share Since the industry average for semiconductor manufacturers is 28.5 would represent a share price of $57 US
Comment by MISTERFB on Jan 01, 2025 8:38am
Since Poet has accumulated a large capital loss over the years (and no debt), taxes will be minimal for awhile on any profits.  Happy New Year
Comment by wintersun10 on Jan 01, 2025 8:40am
Assumptions. You know what they say. But I have a deal for ya. You can have my shears for the Bargain Price of $54.97 TODAY. Btw: You forgat the dilution required for that kinda sales.
Comment by MISTERFB on Jan 01, 2025 8:46am
1,000,000 units is just a start considering they could have licensing agreements with manufactures they presently have collaborations with.  I have to ask, if it's not okay to pump a stock when it's not trading then I guess it's still okay to bash a company's prospects also when it's not trading. ?
Comment by wintersun10 on Jan 01, 2025 8:56am
My point was it is pointless. Yeah, you are free to be pointless and spin your wheels all you want, any day, all day.
Comment by wintersun10 on Jan 01, 2025 9:01am
Big time sales, requires big time working capital. Big Time sales typically are accompanied with Big Time problems, somewhere down the line. Poet had many false starts, why would end now? Say they move on to manufacturing, you really think they go to big time sales without any issues involved manufacturing first time around, Really?
Comment by MISTERFB on Jan 01, 2025 9:36am
I never mentioned when this 1,000,000 unit production would be achieved.  I only made a calculation of what the share price would be once this was achieved.  I am quote aware of the problems that could occur along the way.  I believe they are going in the right direction or I wouldn't be here. I spent years investing in mining startups that had promising properties and with ...more

Some people can simply see both the risk and potential. Like you said it hardly makes any difference what business a stock is in. The metrics for success are the same. So a good start would be an accomplished CEO with a background in publicly traded companies. Esp now you get to the nitty gritty of running a boring business making stuff, where the only excitement comes from spectacular failings.

MISTERFB, you have made many excellent points today. No matter what one posts, it seems that a core of posters here will not ever allow even positive critical thinking. They make false assumptions that anything posted that is not negative is a pump. In my opinion, this is all done by design. Negativity is all they will allow whether it is justified or not to do so. Does it seem like it is a ...more

Poolize!!.. pretty pathetic... stop with the brow nosing..seems like you are begging to justify acceptance  to   your every post.. just in case you haven't noticed ,I don't sea anybody  posting that they agree with your twisted narrative. How low can you go, short of begging for recognition.. Would you like some cheese with that?
Comment by Stockwizard10 on Jan 01, 2025 11:08am
Quite an interesting discussion. Am all for balance and evaluating risks. It must be quite difficult watching money back this company. A share price that's up 400 percent, investors buying in at premium. But we now have people asking for a new CEO, I think he's doing a great job myself. It must be difficult developing a product and keeping everyone happy.  However the moment has come ...more

We can only hope you are right. A 90% haircut followed by a four fold increase only gets you back to about 50%. So we know what happens with Poet. We EXACTLY know what is up. We do not need your distortions. When I say we, I mean I. Just to avoid any confusions. We are not confused we know. Keep on posting your Poet Fairy Tales, very entertaining, keeps us from having to go to Fantasy Land.

I can see why winter sun might be upset , probably been waiting years and years , and now we all turn up at the right moment to reap the rewards that he was promised all those years ago . Fancy investing back then without much knowledge of how long companies take to reach market . It must be painful to watch . Probably bought IPO and got a haircut of 90 percent and sold out to chase some other ...more

Yes, YOU should ignore me. Instead you write psychiatry epistels about me. I might remind you this is the POET BB. You get to talk about Poet. Not about me. You can safely ignore me. I figured most people already did. Anyways, I simply post Poet as i see it. And I know Poet. Get over it.
Comment by Stockwizard10 on Jan 01, 2025 1:07pm
You know about historical moments . However am not here to have constant reminders of the past .  When ever someone does talk about current affairs you bleat on about the past . What's that got to do with anything else that is currently happening. Nothing what so ever so why waste your own time and try to stop others having them conversations about current affairs? Over the years I ...more

Stockhouse provided us all with an ignore button. They did this so you actually use it wisely. My postings will continue about Poet. Likely about new failed promises. That is it why it is important to know about historical fizzled promises. No worries if you forget about Poet's history. I WILL post about Poet history.
Comment by Stockwizard10 on Jan 01, 2025 1:18pm
Feel free to be our historian I'll look forward to the many positive history lessons of the future I will take great pleasure in being reminded, how wonderful SW was turning up just before all this raft of good news you will have the misfortune of reading.   Good luck SW

As a shear holder i would love nothing more than for Poet to go up every single day. At the same time I comment on Poet affairs be it present, past or future. As I see it. Retroactively i may be proven right or wrong. And who cares? Nobody.(Anyways, that is my advise) If anybody would like to waste their time on taking my posts too seriously, be my guest. I share your confidence about Poet. My stand here is not to be overrun by a bully here that trolls my every post. Do bullies lie, scratch and cheat to try and get their way? Will bullies will keep bullying for as long as they can get away with it? Stockhouse's rules are fair but they need ouir help due to the volume of violations.  Free speech is one thing, but constantly trolling and ...more

Poet has had production ready items before. Years ago. Still waiting. Nothing matters what you say other than: Orders, Sales, Profits all summarized by the Shear Price. Take it easy, you cannot post pump the shear price, esp not on days the market is closed.
Comment by maestrodrumboe on Jan 01, 2025 9:30am
..lol.. and how true is that?..Everything POET is production ready, has been for years.. They are all standing by waiting on the Phone for  those Big Orders...LMSO

What's your source for $500?  The Zacks report suggested the light engines Poet would sell to Celestial AI would be $200.
