The good news is Poet did not need this current Financing, so finally the market is shrugging off the Fiasco.

How do we know they don't need the financing?

Obviously if things go to plan they will need many many more financings. My point was there is no need to get all upset over the financing as they just raised quite a bundle to keep the lights on. Like the situation a year ago when you could tell, oh a couple of months and they will have to turn off the lights, without a financing. But this is still the same crew that arranged the previous

Maybe this so called "institutional investor" is really a strategic investor and the financing is being restructured so it is a strategic partner.
