Tantalum and Case Lake!

Tantalum ore grades vary but are generally somewhere between 100 and 400ppm Ta2O5. Based on this fact every assay from Case Lake to date contains mineable Tantalum with grades as high as 1400 ppm which would be considered bonanza grade. My guess is the cost to mine a near surface open pit would not exceed $300 Canadian a ton. If I am right the Tantalum alone would cover the entire cost of mining which means the Lithium and the Cesium income would drop directly to the bottom line. This is why I believe that Case Lake could be one of the lowest cost mines in North America.
It's hard for me to believe that PWM will not find a major strategic partner once they prove up 20,000,000 tons. In looking at the possible strategic partners two come to mind. Firstly, Honda and their South Korean Partners or Albermarle as they are one of the very few Mining Companies that have a cesium division. The market is fast asleep on lithium right now, but I would imagine that will not last long if PWM is able to keep growing this high grade ultra-low cost deposit.
