PS ... anybod care to guess why there was so much urgency to buy at the $0.03/share offer just minutes/seconds before Friday’s close? Curious to see what happens on Monday.

I think you answered your own question Shells. Perhaps people bought in at the last minute on Friday because they're curious to see what happens on Monday.
