Creative accounting ...explained

I know i will ruffle some feathers on this one but it is MY opinion ...
When i said creative accounting i meant by ..

We started getting momentum on the sp after an amazing Q4 2019 and a year end 2019....followed by a good Q1 of earnings 9.7M and declaration of first dividend ...so now everyone is saying wow Robex is finally on the map and people are noticing us...then comes along Q2 with dissapointment (momentum gone) and stagnation of sp over several months, because gold lingots were withheld for futur sales...which was sold in (summer q3) and the gamble paid off (got a better price for them) ..if it was a gamble or calculated ...so Q2 2.3M earnings...

Now we know we have gold in the bank for Q3 so people start crunching numbers, wow so much gold plus conservative calculations of Q3 productions PLUS another 4 cents dividend declared ...Houston we have momentum again PLUS new reserves ..so the numbers will be crazyyyy sp soars to 0.56 yeyyyy all the shareholders are happy .....NOT ..
Mother nature put a damper on our results with almost 30% less gold produced but the gold in the bank saved us...and momentum gone again AND sp correction down to let's say 0.39 down almost 30%...

I checked for the hell of it Q3 results of other gold companies in the region... Mali .. like  B2 gold...Resolute mining ...Barrick has a mine in Mali ...Iamgold has a mine in Sandiola Mali and NO one complained about the rain...most of them production up quarter to quarter... but i'll give the benefit of the doubt not all mines are the same ..(open pit, undergroung and tralala) .

Bonuses (this one got me) ...sorry what the hell, 1.5M additional (just in 1 quarter) ??? for a mining company with a market cap of roughly 85M in january our owners are VERY VERY well paid ...and you know what they deserve it ..they have done an amazing job...PLUS stock options over the year 2020 of 0.09 cents AND 0.13 for the good job the've done ...PLUS 0.06 cents dividends like everyone else ...NOW how do you justify an additional bonus when you come up short on a quarter..30% production less (mother nature's fault)  SP plunges ...irresponsable ..what because you found new reserves ?? only 3M was spent so far till sept30th out of the 10M (only on drilling) ..so everytime we hit more bonuses???(what salary to do your  job, cheap stock options, and dividends not enough??)
To me bonuses are paid at the end of the year when you have met and exceeded your financial obligations!!! (again my opinion and like most companies operate)

Now most will say hey numdnuts or any other name ...we were at 0.10 cents last year and 0.40 now 4x in sp appreciation....YET ALMOST EVERYONE on this board thinks and are absolutely right that the sp of RBX is wayyyyyyyy undervalued WHY ??
Phil you are one of the most knowledgeable people on this forum when it comes to mining analysis, you have done some crazy calculations and very conservative ones over the months on where the sp should be or will be , with debt reductions , cash flow , production levels , new N43 ....heck the only thing holding us back was the mine life at 3yrs last year....WE are now looking at a minimum of 9 years plus new drilling results are due out ...
So why is Robex being snubbed by institutions or new BIG investors and we are trading at these cheap ridiculous depreciated levels?
And no i won't sell and go away at these levels , im not stup$d ..when i know we are worth a hell of lot more then a lousy 0.40!!!

Is it time to privatize and get fair value ? Let's not be blinded by love, compliment and praise when things are done right but ask questions when things are questionable or exagerated !!
Even if their jobs are secured and anything we say won't matter,... there's no accountability.

sorry for the long rant, trust me the original version was alot longer! had to get it out of my chest.

regards stud

Hello Stud, First, I have to tell you that I have read your post several times, which gives me the impression that I understand your disappointment with the stock price. Before I discuss what is really on your mind, I need to correct some information about bonuses. My explanations are not intended to pass judgment on your opinion about the legitimacy of these bonuses, it is simply a ...more

Hey Phil, Thank you for the clarification on some issues regarding my comments, and yes i did compare the salaries of our owners with other companies (8 to be exact ) i won't dwell on this issue because like i said they do deserve it since they've done a hell of job .  My only issue was this bonus, and high management expenses, but now you've explained it to your best knowledge.  ...more

I understand that you are currently researching what the market sees to explain this SP gap. But don't overlook the possibility that the market could be wrong. Whether your goal is achieved in 3, 6, 9 or 12 months, in any case you will have a tremendous return. Regarding the budget allocated for drilling, it should be understood that this is only a budget and that the objective is not to ...more
