Hello Mr T, Quantitative easing, sure there will be more to help the US economy recover. A lack of consensus between the two political parties on this subject is unlikely. Consequently, it will be favorable for an increase in the value of gold. If there was any possible presence of deflation, it would be bad for gold. Hi Phil........you have a much more optimistic view of recovery in the US economy .I don't see it , the glory days of innovation and manufacturing are long gone....50 years long gone. They have squandered their position and so with the dollar as reserve currency status.
