Yahoo Owambo Basin

There's a bunch of posts on Yahoo about some company that was looking at the Owambo Basin. It looks like they never got off the ground.
It appears to be confusing the yahoo board but there's a link to a report on the Owambo Basin which I've copied below. It's a shallower basin and further west. Those in the industry will enjoy the read. It is supportive of the analysis of the Granath and Dickson reports. The chromatograph data and oil finds was quite interesting, especially in the southeast sections which are closer to the Kavango.

I am familiar with the Owambo Basin play. Hell that failed play emboldened my faith in Recon. The company at the time projected 1.1 billion barrels but failed to get any partners onboard as far as I can remember. today looks like a good day. Low volume and a price drop. Could pick up 50k at a nice discount.

There's definately some short action today...I think they're going to be surprised and considerable poorer very soon.

Doubt that very much. I only show a nominal amount short.

I just printed out and analyzed TSX recon short history which shows about a 20% short volume of transactions over the last six months, However the US OTC history in Dec and Nov 2020 shows well over 60% of volume of transactions as shorts. Two very contrasting views. Do not know why.  Any ideas.

Shorting at this point seems like slots. What possible thesis could shorts be motivated by?

I don't know if 25% of the trades is nominal, but if you say so.
