under contract
Shorts can only short if the stock is there to borrow -if you put your stock (under contract ) up for sale above $75 share for 90 days - then the stock can not be used to short - if it is a small number of shares or a large nomber of shares ,it all makes a difference - TRY IT AND SEE !!!

A northwest community bank that I had stock eventually failed. My broker said as it was going down, a shorter only has to have knowledge of where shares are, hence naked shorts, I had offers from shorters to use my shares. The brokerage surely shared knowledge of my holdings. Gamestop shorted 140% of float is NOT legal. Hedge funds are greedly sickos.

Read 3 articles today on Gamestop, and not one mentioned the shorts that got killed by it , they completly ignored the story of the story.
