Some perspective...

In light of the 6-2 well findings of “light oil”, roughly 660 feet of “oil and gas indicators... in a stacked sequence of reservoir and source rock”, and projected deposit volume of 120 BILLION barrels of oil, I thought these articles would help some people get a better (and hopefully accurate) sense of this stock’s potential.

As more experienced O&G industry contributors to this message board have pointed out, there are a many factors that will ultimately determine the true worth of RECO’s discovery, but I think the talking points covered in these two articles will have a significant impact in determining how large RECO’s can eventually become.

@headtotoeinthe6 great post ! I suggest everyone read the links just to get some perspective ....to think that RECO ( one junior exp company) has the rights to potentially amounts of oil that Iran and Iraq have is truly a mind boggling number that can't be evaluated properly! ...the only fact is that in terms of current share price, 1$ was cheap, 3.50 was cheap, 8-10$ will be cheap....the sky ...more

I was thinking about this. I don't think $1 and $3.50 were cheap. They were appropriate given the wildly risky proposition at play. I think the NR changed the game entirely here. Positive results on the first hole! The next hole and seismic an order of magnitude more likely to be positive no?? $8 may indeed be "cheap" now.

I totally agree with you ....and another thing people / investors may be overlooking is that the next 2 positive catalysts - beginning of 6-1 drilling and approval of 2D seismic drilling - are a mere 2 - 4 weeks away...

sorry, seismic surveying

I have been telling you guys that $3.50 was a bargain, now I am ONLY saying that $7.50 is a cheapo. Great discoveries like this are virtually impossible to keep .........

Good find, particularily the one regarding the breakdown of qualties of oil. I am not saying that RECO can't receive a very handsome valuation throughout the exploration and development phase, but regarding the article around reserves, I think the industry and financial analysts are going to have a very difficult time applying a valuation to RECO at various stages of development simply ...more
