other minerals
What happens if RECO, in their exploratory drilling, find other minerals such as kimberlite, massive sulfides, copper etc as well as the oil?

if they hit something in the first thousand feet or so, it might be worthwhile pursuing. deeper, not so much. for instance, silver ore, even bonanza grade, would be uneconomic if it had to be mined from, say, a mile and a half down. :(

Good Point Pappy. Imagine if they discover the World greatest soup of prescious cargo. More millions $$$$$$$. Moving over there and buying a Safari operation after making gazilions off this stock

Likely the lease is only for petroleum and natural gas substances, and would not include coal or other minerals... likely Reco does not have the rights to anything other than petroleum substances. Oil and gas leases do not include everything under the surface, only the substances the lease pertains to. Sorry to rain on the parade

i Doubt the authorities will hand out mining licences. It's already a precious enviroment with Elephants. Lions and stuff. Lot of enviromental eyeballs on it.
