main take-away: after only been given the preview of the front page yesterday (and not knowing what the rest of the article would say), we know have certainty that it is nonsense. Just another hit piece with no substance.

At a guess, I'd say this farmer has no legal recourse, but he's been asked by an environmental group to engage. After it gets thrown out of court, the environmental group gets to push the 'poor farmer thrown off land by exploitive oil company' narrative. They have nothing to lose in this process. That's the cynic in me though, could be legit

I would assume the government (or the respective ministry) will take this on with a press release and RA will stay quiet for now. RA will show AZ how wrong the claims regarding oil were once they release 6-2, 6-1 and seismic details. But agree with your point, it's a win-win for the enviros.
