No new oil under their Net Zero Scenario to clarify. Can the scenario be realized? The changes to the global energy system/economy required would be unprecedented and would require all major industrial/industrializing nations to be on the same page. We'll know soon enough bc governments have zero time if they want to pursue this.

The IAE represents oil producing nations, if you knew Namibia was coming of age you would be doing what they are doing - try to kill the competition - they know this will kill their plan to squeeze the price for the next 10 years  The US is running out of oil and the plan to be green electric is a pipe dream destoned to fail in the short term, it may be ready in 20 years but not in 2 or 3 IMO
