I'm not Canadian but I really hope that the Globe isn't considered journalism in Canada. I took a journalism call in College of which I remember very little and I also worked at a CBS-TV affiliate in a market with a commanding market share in the local news.  I cannot conceive of any credible reporter including themselves in an article they authored or own article or even co-authored
