Is it possible ...
That the rig shut down for maintenance was caused by hitting a pressurized reservoir? Not enough pressure for a full blow out but enough to cause rig problems that required a shut down. I am not an experienced driller or have much oil exploration experience so thought I woud ask the experts here? GLTA

============== Anything is possible but I doubt it.... normal repairs and maintenance and also water license had to be dealt with .. which it has been and also drill is back drilling last week already

Indeed, or otherwise said, it could prove a "river of oil "

Given increasing attention stakes and timelines do you think they will eventually need a second rig to prevent a fortuitous event or operational problem causing delay ?

Seems like a lot of people have trouble with the word maintance.. Like taking a day to overview condition of vital parts, thighten loose ends, checking hydraulic leaks, straps or whatever...... You never do maintenance on your cars ? Like before winter? (Well if you are canadian !) Same thing..... Check mecanic before it breaks in crucial times
