Well he may not be an expert, but he did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.  All - use basic common sense.  Ignore the stupidity you read on here.  The all-star management team assembled here would have better things to do then to soil their distinguished reputations, spend $1M on vaccines, and put together a water well program for rural Namibia.  They know this is a ...more

Just ignore him..he must work for short sellers

The fact that he keeps coming back and posting again and again, points to his having a vested interest in seeing the stock price fall. Definitely a short seller.

I've told you over and over again that I am a bystander with no vested interest other than looking for truth... I became interested in the Recon story by reading all the positive and negative press that came out recently, right around the time of the Globe and Fail and Nat Geo articles. I realized there was a lot of apparent pumping going on, although I agree there hasn't been a lot of ...more

We don't believe you; your story doesn't make any sense and we know for a fact that paid short are working OT to discredit reconafrica.  At the end of the day, it doesn't matter as Namibian government is fully supporting reconafrica and the clock is ticking for your boss

Jimgeorge, It's because the Kool-aid drinkers are the only ones who post most of the time, The educated ones who have done their DD and are invested mostly accept the risk and sit on the side lines waiting for news. A little bit of dunning kruger effect going on. I am long RECO and see significant upside, if it turns out to be a pump and dump then it was extremely well orchestrated. I ...more

The issue of commerciality has of course not yet been settled. We as investors have to weigh the objective evidence together with the statements of the people running the show. What I see is very promising evidence together with "under promotion" of this evidence by the people running the show. They didn't go "bamboozle" after seeing oil in the first well with the exception ...more

"Under promoted"?? Are you kidding me? A direct quote from JG in the Oilprice.com "entertainment" article: "We have yet to find out how huge this is..." Really understated!
Comment by derpa on Jul 06, 2021 6:35pm
If you were not biased you would see that Recon moved up their ante following the hit pieces in Nat Geo and the Globe & Mail.  More importantly following the Viceroy reports were they were accused of a pump & dump / con job. They had to defend themselves wouldn't you agree? Before that, they were very modest and under-reporting. So their intent was to built up the case without too ...more

Jimmy, you sitting on your laotop in Alberta is not going to make a difference.  Either they have a commercially viable claim or they dont. Apparently you worked on the rigs back in the day you say.  Were you ever in upper management ??  Were you ever involved in Management business regarding stock exchanges....I am guessing no.  So I will put my money on this mangement team ...more

Just to be clear, I wasn't just in upper management, I WAS upper management. CEO of several public oil and gas companies with billion dollar market caps. I guess I've been under promoting myself! Lol! i have taken companies from seed capital to a billion dollars, I know what I'm talking about.

Ok, I'll take a break for a while...yes, I can hear most of you cheering. I don't have much more to say until there's more news (or more posts from you guys that need a response!). I'll  just say that IF (I have to say "if" because their information has been inconsistent and unclear so far) Recon has found a sedimentary basin in an area where no such basin was ...more

If you think it might take "many years" to find commercial reserves, you obviously did not work in O/G. We all know you are a fraud. It makes zero sense to not own a stock and yet feel you need to post here to save us from ourselves. What other stock boards are you trying to save the stockholders from themselves or is this the only stock where the shareholders need to be saved? Being a ...more
