Reco: This is conventional oil play - Oil are in the rocks
My understanding is that if there are hydrocarbons in the rocks then the resistivity level to electrical flows will be high, if there was water they resistency levels would be low.
From todays interview, the geolgists confirms that the rocks are filled with hydrocarbons and that it is a conventional oil play. He is sure of this.
Common logic tells me that a resistivity log test will therefore confirm a high number as rocks are filled with oil.
We are now moving from the phase of, Does this basin hold oil, to the next phase of How much oil does this basin have?
The fact that the two holes shows similar findings of oil shows and, that there is oil in the rocks to make it official that it is a conventional play tells me that we must have A MASSIVE AMOUNT OF OIL as we are speaking of 2 holes 16 kilometers apart, with similar showings.

determining if things are commercial at this point i think is next. we need strutural traps to contain the hydrocarbons otherwise they simply migrate away showing hints that they were there at one point but not contained. in all recent interviews they are being very careful around this point. This is the next big catalyst
