And what if there is a down dip in the anticline between the 2 wells, and we get poor production numbers, but further delineation would have determined the best location to drill the first producer to prove excellent commercial viability of the reservoir was actually miles away. This isn't a science project, it is mitigating risk. Engineering associated with oil and gas is extremely technical,

@Peterj99, that is a terrible idea, RECO needs to determine further information regarding the reservoir prior to drilling a producer. RECO needs to further delineate the basin, determine the extent and commercial viability of various potential drilling locations, and settle on drilling and completion designs. They have drilled 2 strat wells, we are a long way off from drilling a pure producing

How many acres of lease does RECO have? Is there a potential that based on the findings from these 2 wells that the best location to prove commercial viability is not between these 2 wells. They can absolutely find a trap, but is it the best indication of production potential to use as leverage as to the commercial potential of the reservoir... unlikely.
