Lets get going

I wait in anticipation for seismic results so that drilling can begin in hot spots identified by it. It seems to me that they drilled wells #1 and #2 slightly blind and came up with pretty good results  even without the tech to tell them where the sweet spots were. I think if they had done some seismc first and used the results to pinpoint their drill targets they would have made a significant hit by now. After all they do have a vast petroleum system covering a huge area and it is going to take several years to discover the full potential.

My understanding is that strat wells and seismic are complementary. They're doing things exactly right. Methodically. Professionally.  Have they said where the next well is going?

Possibly they want the seismic to help them decide where to drill the next well,

In the presentation the third strat well is named 5-2. I don't know the naming convention but I suspect this means the location has been determined.

Yeah, you need to ask them to vote you onto the board.  Tell them amateurs how it should be done.

I feel they are doing the D2 to confirm connectivity of 1 and 2 this is why 3 has not been anounced. If they determin the connectivity i am buying an island, Austraiia

They are doing seismic to broaden their area of investigation - it's a quick way to get an idea of the stratigraphy without drilling wells. The wells drilled will be used to calibrate the seismic, relating inferred seismic formations with the formation information gathered from the cores and logs and then further extrapolating that information with the data gathered across the area of the ...more
